Bronchitis Coughs - Natural Cure - Natural Cures for Bronchitis, Colds & Coughs
Are you looking for a natural cure for bronchitis, coughs & colds?  Well, I am going to tell you what worked for me.  About 13 years ago, I had a horrible case of bronchitis. I never believed in natural cures back then so I went to the doctor... and then back to the doctor... and then back to the doctor because it never went away. For 3 months, I had this horrific cough that was making me nuts. The doctor put me on antibiotic after antibiotic and then he put me on steroids. I was only about 28 years old... way too young for all of that.

Well, I am happy to say, I am 41 now (ok, that's not the good news.. ha, ha) and I haven't had a case of bronchitis since then. Nor have I hardly had a cold... and when I do have one, it is always a short version because I now know how to cure it naturally. There is a lot of jargon connected with Bronchitis. However, we have eliminated the difficult ones, and only used the ones understood by everyone.

She Told Me to Do 2 Things..
1. to start drinking fresh carrot juice and 2. to go buy "homeopathic cold pills" from my local health store.  In the back of my mind, I still thought this was crazy but I did it anyway. I went to the local health store for a few days and bought carrot juice and I bought the "cold pills" as well.

Ok, I Will Continue With My Story
So I had had it at this point. I was talking on the phone at work to some stranger and she couldn't help but comment on my chronic cough. I had told her I had bronchitis for 3 months and she told me exactly what to do. Had it been 3 months earlier, I would have thought she was nuts but at this point, I was willing to try anything.  I had been sick way too long. Sometimes, what we hear about Bronchitis can prove to be rather hilarious and illogical. This is why we have introduced this side of Bronchitis to you. :D.

Since then, I have gotten married and had a child so I have been limited on time and the last thing I feel like doing at the end of the day is cleaning up a juicer... so I have stuck with the homeopathic cold pills as well as chewable Esther Vitamin C. They both work really well to stop bronchitis, coughs and colds naturally. And again, I have never had a problem like I did 12 years ago. We would like you to leisurely go through this article on Bronchitis to get the real impact of the article. Bronchitis is a topic that has to be read clearly to be understood. :D.

3 Days, I Was a New Person! My Cough Was GONE
I couldn't believe it... 3 months of taking drug after drug... and paying money after money! After that, I went out and bought a juicer and started juicing carrots every day. It was at the spur of the moment that we ventured to write something about Bronchitis. Such is the amount of matter that is available on Bronchitis.

But please don't spend a lot of money on homeopathic cold pills, though... or any vitamins for that matter. I have bought homeopathic cold pills as well as other vitamins at my local health stores and spent way too much on them... for way too long. You can buy them for a lot cheaper online.

Bronchitis is a condition defined as the inflammation of the bronchi which results in persistent cough that produces considerable quantities of sputum. A respiratory infection such as a cold is the initial stage of the development of bronchitis. One of the other natural remedies for bronchitis is a tea prepared by mixing both garlic and ginger which when taken for three to four times a day helps cure the symptoms effectively. Having been given the assignment of writing an interesting presentation on Common Bronchitis, this is what we came up with. Just hope you find it interesting too!

One of the other natural treatment for bronchitis that help soothe the throat and stop the muscle spasms that trigger coughs is a herb called mullien having expectorant properties. Massaging the chest and back with a vegetable oil or massage oil is one of the other best bronchitis natural treatment that helps break up congestion in the lungs. Taking more supplements of vitamins A and C are best remedies that helps heal the inflammation of the bronchial tubes.

Viruses such as coronarvirus, adenovirus, or a rhinovirus, that attack the lining of the bronchial tree is one of the major causes of bronchitis. Swelling occurs and more mucus is produced when the body tries to fight back the infection causing virus. Bacteria and fungus are considered to be one of the other causes of bronchitis, but newer research shows that bacterial and fungal infection are much less common in bronchitis.

We have taken the privilege of proclaiming this article to be a very informative and interesting article on Natural Remedies Bronchitis. We now give you the liberty to proclaim it too. :o.

Bronchitis is a common disease that is associated with the respiratory system. It?s typically in conjunction with the common cold or flu and it can affect anyone, no matter the age. If a person' smokes or their immune system is weaker than normal, you have a higher chance of getting chronic bronchitis. In some cases, asthmatic bronchitis is a possibility.

When the delicate respiratory organ gets aggravated, mucus is produced excessively to prevent other irritants from entering. When the excess mucus clogs your air passage, it makes it much more difficult to breath.  Coughing, wheezing and breathing difficulty are commonplace during the infection.  Dwelving into the interiors of Bronchitis Treatment has led us to all this information here on Bronchitis Treatment. Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) determines the amount of carbon dioxide and oxygen in the blood. Checked by drawing blood from an artery, this procedure can be uncomfortable.  This is useful if oxygen therapy is advised. It was with keen interest that we got about to writing on Treating Bronchitis. Hope you read and appreciate it with equal interest.

Bronchitis can be Either Acute or Chronic
On the acute side, symptoms are extremely bad but normally clear up if a virus is the cause. For chronic bronchitis, milder symptoms are aided but aggravated. Chronic bronchitis signs and symptoms ongoing treatment for symptoms not to reoccur.

  • To be thorough, a physician will ask about your medical background including your habits.
  • One of the most common questions asked is if you can walk up the stairs without any difficulty.
  • The physician will listen to your chest and back.
  • This is how the signs of bronchitis are found.
  • The most accurate way to find out if you have bronchitis is take a Pulmonary Fitness Test or for short PFT.
  • This includes:  * Spirometry - a device that measures the air that you inhale and exhale.
  • Air volumes are then measured by how long you can hold your breath.
  • Aiming high is our motto when writing about any topic.
  • In this way, we tend to add whatever matter there is about Bronchitis Treatment, rather than drop any topic.
  • Those who are commonly getting diagnosed are metal molders, grain handlers, coal miners and other dust-related occupations.
  • These symptoms get worse with those types of jobs.
  • When air pollutants and sulfur dioxide are increased in the atmosphere, the disease can be irritating.
  • We are satisfied with this end product on Bronchitis Treatment.
  • It was really worth the hard work and effort in writing so much on Bronchitis Treatment.
Viruses are the usual culprits behind bronchitis and will usually go away after a few days. Sometimes bacteria can be the attacker and then antibiotics are needed to clear up the body. We have also translated parts of this composition into French and Spanish to facilitate easier understanding of Bronchitis. In this way, more people will get to understand the composition.

  • This disease can manifest dissimilar symptoms including: coughs, soreness, discomfort, headache, wheezing, fever, chest pain and shortness of breath.
  • If fever is present due to a bacterial infection then be on the lookout for any kinds of complications.
  • Is considered that smoking is a serious cause for bronchitis, which leads to other illnesses such as pneumonia.
  • Tobacco substances can and do irritate bronchial tubes.
  • The polluted environment and other pollution exposures can be attributed to chronic bronchitis.
  • Studies are showing second hand smoke is also leading to more cases of chronic bronchitis.
  • Enhancing your vocabulary is our intention with the writing of this article on Bronchitis Treatment.

  • More people are affected by COPD (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) illnesses.
  • This is often misdiagnosed despite it being so widespread.
  • Exams can misinterpret other diseases such as allergies, asthma and sinusitis. :D
Peak Flow Meter - measures the peak expiatory flow rate which is the maximum quantity of air that you force out.  * Chest X-Ray - typically offered by the doctor if pneumonia is a possibility. ;)

The RESPIRATORY SYSTEM DAMAGE
The long-term effects of air pollution include serious diseases like cancer. The highly polluted city air slowly metamorphoses our healthy and pink colored lung tissues into darkened particles of smog, dust, and other pollutants, making the lungs more vulnerable to infection. The highly sensitive respiratory system can be damaged in a number of ways.

DISORDERS & DISEASES of the RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
Any portion of the respiratory tract can be affected by the disorders and diseases of the respiratory system. Though the common ailments of the respiratory system are trivial, yet at times they can be life threatening as well. Bronchitis are basically interesting parts of our day-to-day life. It is only that sometimes, we are not aware of this fact!

Indoor Air Pollution:
This is one of the most dangerous but often disregarded dangers. The offices and homes are mostly bases of indoor air pollution. Many cleaning compounds besides furniture and synthetic carpets, certain construction materials, and even air fresheners emit hazardous gases. These remain highly concentrated in unventilated or AC rooms. The most vulnerable sections of people exposed to these respiratory dangers are children, elderly people and those having a history of respiratory illnesses. These people generally spend most of their time within the four walls. The indoor air pollutants not only weaken our lungs but also invite infections. Bronchitis came into being some time back. However, would you believe that there are some people who still don't know what a Bronchitis is?

ALTERNATIVE TREATMENT for RESPIRATORY DISEASES
Many traditional and alternative health systems like Yoga, Ayurveda, Unani and Homoeopathy have various means of treating the different types of respiratory disorders. Yoga has simple breathing exercises called 'Pranayam' that have proven track records. The other alternative health systems like Ayurveda, Unani and homoeopathy also have viable strategies to effectively treat the respiratory ailments. Developing a basis for this composition on Bronchitis was a lengthy task. It took lots of patience and hard work to develop.

Tuberculosis: Also known as TB, it is caused by the tuberculosis bacterium. The lungs are primarily attacked in TB. At times, other body tissues also get affected. Unaddressed, the lung infection can even destroy the lung tissues. Earlier, tuberculosis was controlled by antibiotics. However, the bacterium has evolved an antibiotic-resistant strain posing a grave health problem. :)

He has published more than 1000 articles and a popular adventure book for children. It is of no use thinking that you know everything, when in reality, you don't know anything! It is only because we knew so much about Bronchitis that we got down to writing about it!

These substances settle down in the lungs' mucous layers. It takes almost an hour for the paralyzed cilia to recover. But repeated paralyzing from the heated tar eventually kills them. Mucus builds up as a result of repeated smoking. The accumulated mucus blocks the smaller air passages. The obstruction triggers the 'smoker's cough'. This familiar reflex cough is the distressed lung's effort to clear the air routes. Failure is the stepping stone to success. So if you do fail to understand this article on Bronchitis, don't fret. Read it again a few times, and you are sure to finally get its meaning.

GOVERNMENT & NGO MONITORING of POLLUTION
All the governments have their independent agencies to monitor the pollution levels. There are also non-governmental agencies (NGOs) that carry out this activity. The OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) in USA, for instance, issues regulations for protection of workers. It has made mandatory the wearing of air masks with filters for certain jobs. The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) monitors and also regulates the pollutants released into the air by different organizations and industries. In spite of such efforts, across the world, various types of respiratory illnesses have registered a rise. After reading what was written here, don't you get the impression that you had actually heard about these points sometime back. Think back and think deeply about Bronchitis.

Besides tar several other chemicals enter our lungs from a burning cigarette. The tar from a single cigarette temporarily immobilizes the cilia of the upper and lower tracts of the respiratory route. The tar also temporarily paralyses the macrophages in the lung alveoli. When the cleansing and filtering functions are made inactive, the lungs and the air passages are laid bare to the different particles, viruses and bacteria that are airborne besides of course the tar. Revision is very important when writing or speaking about a topic. We had a lot of drafting to do to come to this final product on Bronchitis.

Environmental pollution: One of the potent dangers is the environmental pollution. The environment smog contains many chemicals. Many of these chemicals are exhausted by the vehicles and the industries. What is more, several household cleaning products also emit such poisonous gases. Responsibility is what makes a person. So we felt it our responsibility to elaborate more on Bronchitis so that not only us, but everyone knew more about it!

  • ARDS: Adult Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) occurs when the lungs get severely injured.
  • Many automobile accidents, poisonous gases, or lung inflammation can cause such a dysfunction.
  • ARDS patients generally have to battle for life with 50 per cent survival rate.
  • We tried to create as much matter for your understanding when writing on Bronchitis.
  • We do hope that the matter provided here is sufficient to you.
  • Occupational risks: Many professionals are daily exposed to impurities released by their activities.
  • These workers run a high risk of suffering from respiratory diseases.
  • Mention may be made of people picking cotton, those working in work in farms or shipyards, mechanics installing brake insulation or lining.
  • Other people who suffer from such risks are miners, construction workers, quarry workers, stone cutters, and sandblasters among others.
  • Thinking of what to do upon reading this article on Bronchitis?
  • Well you can very well use the information constructively by imparting it to others. :)
Hay fever & asthma: These are allergic reactions of the respiratory system. These conditions are caused when the immune system is irritated by irritants like dust or pollen. The symptoms of hay fever are sneezing, watery eyes, and runny nose. It is a seasonal reaction when there is abundance of pollens in the air. Asthma attacks are generally mild. But, they can be life threatening too. A person suffering from asthma experiences difficulty in breathing. It occurs as the bronchi and bronchioles get inflamed and remain constricted temporarily.

Emphysema: This non-contagious disease affects alveolar tissue gets partially destroyed. The remaining alveoli gets enlarged and weakened. During exhalation, the bronchioles collapse. As a result, air remains trapped inside the alveoli. In the long run, emphysema affects the patient's ability for exchanging oxygen and carbon dioxide. The circulatory system also fails to function. This causes breathing problems. Emphysema can occur due to genetic factors besides infection, smoke, smog, and cigarette. Developing a gradual interest in Bronchitis was the basis for writing this article. On reading this, you will gradually get interested in Bronchitis.

Lung cancer: The main cancer causing agents are uranium, asbestos, and tobacco smoke. Genetic reasons can also cause cancer. The respiratory cancerous tumors are formed in the lung tissue (alveolar), the bronchioles or the bronchi. Early detection of such tumors can halt their progression to other parts of the body. Then the treatments are more effective, and the prognosis for recovery is rather good. Unfortunately, 85 per cent of the lung cancers are diagnosed at a later stage when the tumors have already spread. In such extreme cases, the prognosis is poor. Reading all this about Bronchitis is sure to help you get a better understanding of Bronchitis. So make full use of the information we have provided here.

Pneumonia: This infection of the alveoli is caused by viruses or bacteria. Pneumonia is a potentially serious state of the lungs. In pneumonia the alveoli gets inflamed after fluid builds up. This gathering of fluid and the consequent inflammation impedes the flow of carbon dioxide and oxygen between the alveoli and capillaries.
